+ I've been a bit M.IA recently, due in the most part to school, just finishing off coursework and the like, but it's the Easter holidays now. Two weeks off, and end of lent on Sunday! I have missed chocolate sooo bad.

+ Basically I've been attempting to decide where to go to University next year. I'll be studying History and it's between two Universitys, The University of Dundee and the University of Liverpool. They're both really good academically and student satisfaction wise, but Dundee is four hours away and Liverpool is home. So my decision is purely based on whether I want to go away or not. Any help, opinions or expereince of uni life is much appreciated. :)

+ This song just reminds me of summer. And Dawson's Creek, but that reminds me of summer too. I'm very nostalgic today :)

I went to the university in my hometown, but I moved out of my childhood home and got my own place. For me, it was like having the best of both worlds? I could see my family if I wanted to/needed to, but I am self-reliant and have my own agenda, etc.

It worked out well for me, but that isn't always the case, you know?

I think that might be a good third option. I really want to have my own life, seperate from my family and school friends but I don't want to leave them completely and I really ike the idea that I won't be that far away. It's just such a big decision, you now, I want to make the right one.

university life is amazing. But truly, I chose a school close to home and I mostly love it. Sure sometimes I regret not getting my life kick started by moving away but I know that when I graduated I can do that.

See, this is the conumdrum. I really don't know if I'm ready to move four hours away all by myself. I'm so relieved you love uni life, despite all the decison stuff, I'm so looking forward to next year and just being a uni student :)

Ooh, lucky! I want two weeks off, haha.

Hey, history is my major too! Well, sort of - I'm studying Art History. Let's see, here's my little story. I had planned on going to college in my hometown, the one my whole family had gone to, but then at the end of senior year I.. I actually don't know why, but I decided to go to another college six hours away. And honestly? I love it. I mean, I miss my family of course, but it's very freeing in a way to be out here on my own. But, then again, everyone is different. Can't wait to hear what you decide! :)

Ah, Dawson's Creek! Hee! I used to love that show so much. I mean, I still do, but it was definitely old-school. And I so have that song in my iTunes, LOL.

The freedom you were talking about, I want that, I want to break out and see if I can make it by myself but I'm having last minute jitters that it won't work out somehow. Luckily I have a really supportive family and I know I'd miss them, but they'd always be there when I came back, so I know I'm O.K there. Thanks for your help though, I'll be sure to let you know when I finally decide :)

For me, I went to a uni in Stoke, it's about a good couple of hours away from where my home town, and it was perfect for me cause I wanted, at the time, to make a fresh start in my life - I made new friends on and off my course, I've got my accomodation for next year, and Im gonna be hunting for a job down there too.

I guess, at the end of the day, it depends on if you really want and/or need a fresh start in life. And yay easter! :D

I feel like a fresh start, I've been getting kind of retless for a while and I think if I stay at home it will only increase and I'll bolt without finishing my degree. I'm just nervous about the intial move, you know, making the break will be hard. Thanks for the help, it's good to hear that it worked out for you, makes me hopeful ♥
